so far so good. the key for me was realizing the emotional decisions were costing me life changing money so i developed a model, punted a lot of the decision making to it, and severely diminished my risk with an exceptionally tight stop-loss. that scales laterally well so i was able to trade more accounts with fewer contracts on each at once.
i dont really read the market with an eye towards directional bias as much as i focus on periods of high liquidity/volume and strong momentum. 'when' is hugely important for my pnl.
also learning to see levels is something everyone should invest time in learning. before scaling into positions im asking myself where the nearest recent buy/sell wall might be, what the overnight high/lows are, whats the 30 second opening range, whats the 30 minute opening range, etc etc.
like bullish/bearish is meaningless when youre focused on levels and momentum.
