Every time Ukraine/Nato crosses a Russian redline Putin responds with massive missile barrage of infrastructure, training barracks, military brass homes, etc. All things Russia does not attack regularly. No doubt they promised a response to the latest threat of additional attacks at mother Russia.

Putin doesn't bluff, I would bet on a major response attack against Ukraine infrastructure, perhaps targeting embassies and military training facilities where NATO forces are present.

I don’t understand why the administration keeps escalating. Ukraine can’t win, and even the risk of a potentially devastating accident increases as this continues.

It is amazing to me how Americans in general dont take this war all that serious.

Russia has lotsa tactical nukes. We nuked Japan twice and I can’t think of a more reliable brand than Toyota.

We don’t have a sentient President and perhaps that is the real threat to humanity.

Pax Americana of the last 75 years was the historical anomaly. Insanely stable, peaceful and prosperous. Now that the world is trending toward multiparity, things are reverting back to the norm. Which is wars, death, disease, poverty.

You can be an isolationist at heart, but you also need to accept we actually are generally very good at this sort of thing (or we were), and the more we pull back the more millions of people thousands of miles away are going to suffer. And eventually the suffering will reach us at home too.

Now maybe there is nothing to do. All empires fall eventually. But IMO America should be praised for the results it gave the last 75 years. And if you think we are the problem, and the rest of the world will be better off without our involvement, you are in for a rude awakening IMO.

We’ve been scrapping on foreign soil uninterrupted for the past 20 years. We’ve caused a great deal of suffering to millions thousands of miles away.

We really couldn’t do anything more to antagonize the multipolar neighbors.
