This was likely due to multiaccounting.
Francesco Garofalo, of Italiy, has zero in Hendon mob cashes and only $38k in total cashes on GGPoker. Nobody has heard of him. He is unlikely to be someone entering (and winning) an extremely tough $10k event.
His money was confiscated, and everyone was moved up one spot, and paid accordingly. That's the good news. The bad news is that nobody was awarded the bracelet! It should have gone to Chris Brewer, but it didn't. There will simply be no bracelet in this event, which is the wrong decision. Brewer claimed he was "satisfied" with the resolution, and was happy to get the extra money. However, note that Brewer is known to be a mild-mannered guy who doesn't like to complain, so he wasn't likely to make a big deal about it.
