And no, it's not tax deductible to spend big money on attending sporting events just because you call yourself a "professional gambler". The only way this could be justified would be if you could show how the expenditures on the games are justified by the size of your bet. But you can't write off a $2500 ticket by placing a $300 bet, and saying you're there for research.

However, we all know Chrissy isn't a winning sportsbettor, so there is no gambling income to write off!

He actually might be able to write off the World Series tickets/trip by claiming it's an expense necessary to cultivate his high roller image as a (scam) gambling influencer. Personally I don’t care if he flies through the windshield while driving 80 mph but if Champers is going to sit on Stacy’s lap or be strapped in with the seatbelt across his chest and Stacy behind him, things could get ugly on the 300 mile drive.
