Bilzerian has become a crazy person.
Also, he has nothing to do with poker anymore, aside from occasionally playing, and has said publicly that he hates the poker community.
Here's some of Bilzerian's follies over the years:
2017:
Interfered with the police response during the Stephen Paddock mass murder on October 1. For whatever reason, he ran up to the police and was asking to be given a gun during all of the panic, offering the "help". In a hilarious moment, the frazzled officer yelled, "No, get the fuck away... I don't know you who are."
While Bilzerian is probably a good shot, due to his intense interest in firearms, he has no training in law enforcement, and of course it's absolutely insane to expect the police will hand him a gun so he can play cop during an emergency.
2019:
Bilzerian started marijuana company Ignite, which he badly mismanaged and it lost a fortune. There are some YouTube videos alleging misuse of funds and the illegal involvement of his convicted father dad, who is believed to be the source of a lot of Bilzerian's funds.
2020:
Bilzerian signed with GGPoker as an ambassador. A then-unknown Vanessa Kade objected on Twitter to the signing, claiming Bilzerian had a history of misogynistic behavior, which was partially true. Instead of just ignoring this (expected) social media criticism from someone with a low follower count, Bilzerian responded back, "Shut the fuck up hoe, nobody knows who you are." GGPoker was of course horrified, but they kept him on.
2022:
Bilzerian was fired by GGPoker. Why? Apparently he didn't perform some of the tasks he agreed to, including not showing up for some challenge on the site based around him. At one GG party, he openly stated on video that he was only there because his contract said he had to be! Three months after they fired him, he bashed them publicly during an interview.
It doesn't surprise me that he bought into a bunch of anti-Semitic nonsense.
