I probably have seen 10 episodes. Its ok. Like Goodfellas light. Episodic enough- I don't mind watching an episode without knowing what happened in the episode before.

Most of the family plots suck.

If its considered the best show ever, no.

I didn't like the psychiatric episodes and there were a lot jj was a bore too My fav on there was paulie specifically lost in woods and sniffing panties episodes. Fave episode was when he was romancing the shrink and asked her why she wouldn't consider dating him so he could show her the real him. She rolled out a big list of reasons he stormed out of the office and yelled you fucking Cunt at her.

He did get blown away in goodfellas, however the gimp was in pulp fiction in goodfella Michael Impreali was known as Spider. Funny scene when tommy shot him in foot and told him to crawl to dr like he crawled for drinks.

I dunno Tine, you see a really Mafia authentic scene like this, and it makes you think this series had some really good moments. I mean Ralphie at the end, it's good stuff. Real good. Also Tine, why is it I am ready to eat a bowl of pasta when watching this show? It's better than the Food Network.

I'm rewatching this for the first time since its original run (I've only caught pieces of a few episodes since then and watched the occasional YouTube clip) - I was a child when this first aired. A few things that stick out since then: Paulie is by far the best character, it's not even close, and this show is at heart truly a dark comedy, at least through the first two seasons.

Paulie quits the church after realizing he didn't get the protection he paid for after visiting a psychic.

its interesting because (and you probably know this) tony sirico in real life was very similar to his character, paulie. definitely a fan favorite.

"The movie never changes. It can’t change; but every time you see it, it seems different because you’re different. You see different things."

That scene in 12 Monkeys ironically seems to change every time.

I'm actually having second thoughts about rewatching past the second. Some things are better left in the past. Years ago, still a kid, I first watched "Being There". Every time I've thought about rewatching it I've talked myself out of it for fear that it won't be as meaningful the second time around. Why corrupt something when you don't have to?

i tried rewatching the wire not so long ago and had to tap out pretty fast. a few hours of trap lore ross videos makes the wire look painfully dated.
