The 2008 housing collapse debacle was because Wall Street bundled mortgages and sold them as mortgage-backed Securities which people then defaulted on. All them mortgages so them bundles were Garbage then, Worthless. When the stock market began to Tumble and collapse obviously that affected all the sectors involved and people lost a lot of their net worth pensions and we know what happened fortunately things have recovered since then.
One key difference now and why people are incorrect saying this is a bubble that will burst is, Wall Street is not selling mortgages in bundles as Mortgage Backed Securities with flimsy borrowers, like they were in 2008. Which then people all defaulted on, so this is not a bubble that's going to burst that is incorrect. I've taken some formal real estate economics in economics courses when studying econ at Rutgers. This falls right in that wheelhouse.

To jayjami, I know you don't like Kamala. I know she held various DA and AG jobs. She seems to have maneuvered and slept her way into them from as far as I can tell. Like she wasn't some killer prosecutor who thrived for 15 years, or is that part of her bio just omitted? I know you're more Lake Tahoe than Bay area but assume you don't like her for a reason beyond her tv presence. You likely know people who know her being in the same age window.
I have struggled to find much history on how she was in a courtroom.
She wasn't good during Democratic debates, but I think it's much harder to debate against people you agree with on 90% of shit and trying to differentiate yourself.
It's obviously hard to debate a skilled court room lawyer if they are truly skilled, but I am not sure if she is. What do you know of her in a court room?
