Half unit each. The first bet should pay for the second.

I think CLE success vs lefties is being overshadowed by their recent offensive suckage. +160 is mispriced imo

    CLE F7 o2.5 +114
    CLE ML +160

I’ve pondered back and forth on this one all day. I don’t know the kid for Philly. Know he was an all star. The thing that scares me is he’s only given up 3 homers to Livellys 15 and pitched 16 more innings. He’s 6-1 at home and hasn’t given up a homer in Philly. Makes me think he throws that hard sinking stuff that Cleveland struggles with. You liking it though might make it worth the shot. Will be just do the ground balls get through or not.

Arozarena to the Mariners. Very weird trade. Rays got two okayish prospects, and are essentially giving up, when 4 games (and 2 teams) behind the final wildcard spot? And he was sent to a team which very well might make that last wildcard?

    Hmmm.

He's only hitting .211, but he's actually been swinging the bat quite well since June 1.

Now we see where Luis Robert goes. Dodgers talking about getting him, and he'd basically be another Teoscar Hernandez, except with injury issues. Dodgers need is much more pitching-related, especially when considering the postseason, when they will presumably have Mookie Betts and maybe Max Muncy back.

I like KC home team RL -1.5. +128z Hate betting home team RL, but Hendricks has like 7 era on road. They are cold scoring right now and they haven’t hit Singer well.

Everyone taking the over. I thought about F5 over 4.5 but I feel like I’m joining the herd with that. Fly ball Cubs might not get to Singer.

I was a huge KCR guy earlier this year. I dubbed them Americas Team. Maybe they are ascending once more.

I’ll join you and add this to my pile of woe. -1.5 +136 (DK)

Arozarena will fit in with the other Mariner strike out artists.

Freeman likely out tomorrow too. Kershaw will tell him family first. Delete 25% of the offense if not more. Changes whole complexion.

Freemans kid caught some creepy virus at the All Star game? Wish them well.

BTW, Kershaw’s wife yesterday in the stands with the Kershaw kids was so damn wholesome. She’s great. Kershaw doesn’t need a World Series ring when he has her.

Not only wholesome, but she's the only girl Kershaw ever kissed.

How many MLB players have kissed one girl lifetime?

Didn’t bother posting as I saw you had it already in wagering thread San. I bet it before I went to bed last night as Carrasco versus Phillies speaks for itself

What do we think about tmrw San? First major league start for Tribe pitcher. Leftie who has been very good in minors.

Phillies starting LHP Kolby Allard. Classic brought along too soon kid who has been bouncing around majors after being 1st round pick for like 5 years. 9-24 career record. Making first start of year. Opening likely around Cleveland +125. Do we have an opinion? Idk what to make of this.

I’m burned out on baseball. Great day Saturday but I can’t take any more right now. Wake up fresh tomorrow for what is typically a squirrelly Sunday

So far I have only taken Houston overnight for Sunday. Haters gotta hate. I luckboxed into a Houston win last night with the predictable Philips implosion. The Dodgers bullpen is THE WORST in several categories last 30 days. It was such a bad spot for the Dodgers schedule-wise yesterday and a bad matchup so I went 2 units. Dodgers 5-0 had me really frustrated.

The Oakland A’s cashed and Rooker HRR cashed. I recall he was .111 against opposing pitcher, lol.

I seek to find some opportunity every day with Miami and Oakland. Each team is ridiculed and season stats don’t help the kids with basic models. Each is cranking out the offense for now.

San did you see my theory about the post-CG letdown for starting pitchers?

You might want to fade pitchers who threw a CG the next time they start. Today Lugo gave up 6 ER.

Joe Kelly (LAD) is available in my opinion.

Fun facts, Joe Kelly's career numbers vs. Astros:

    8.44 ERA, 1.69 WHIP, 28 hits, 14 walks, 8 HRs, 1.012 OPS in 21 IP

I might need to take a break from baseball also. Was on fire for 10 days. Bet a Japanese game because I was so hot last night. My team is up 6-0 and pitcher is throwing a perfect game through 5. Falls apart and gives up 7 runs and I lose 8-7.

Bet the A’s today. Up 6-0. Now they have fallen apart and are losing 7-6. Might be the universe telling me to do something more productive if I lose these 2 95% win percentage games b2b.

Welp, we have our first wacky trade of the deadline, and it involves the Dodgers.

    https://twitter.com/Alden_Gonzalez/status/1817992946580603112

Your opinions might vary based on how you value Fedde's uptick in results after a year in Korea, but this seems a fleecing by the Cardinals, ok enough for the Dodgers.....and I don't know wtf the Sox are doing. Tanking trades a strategy now?

Edman and Fedde each have 1 more year of control at cheap enough money for what they should bring to the table. Kopech 1 more arb. year. Pham a rental. "Strip-club Tommy" back in STL.

The White Sox getting 3 players back, TOTAL, is fucking mind-blowing. Vargas obviously the headliner, although he seems to be trending dangerously close to being one of those AAAA players, and doesn't do much with the glove. The two prospects were ranked in the teens in the Dodger system and multiple years away.

Look at other deals so far this year and there is no way the Sox don't get more in return by trading all three of their guys individually. Fedde on his own=what they got back. Kopech could have got a couple project prospects, and Pham 1.

Nashville White Sox in a couple years.
