If Romney really wanted to tell the world how much he hates Trump and his supporters within the party, all he had to do was get a Trump-hating moderate Republican (or a centrist) to write this biography.
Instead the book is a left wing propaganda piece -- basically telling the public that the Republican Party they once liked in 2012 is now dead, but conveniently leaving out how extreme the Democrats have become during the same time period.
