It was in our lifetimes that Arafat was offered a peace deal that he refused. Look at where the Palestinians have gotten since then. Their situation is far worse, the bargaining power far less and no vision for the future except one day more bleak than the next. They're suicidal.

The Israeli’s still appear aggressive with the settlements and all. I’m not super schooled up on the practice of “settlements” but it seems an obvious land grab.

The mess that is the entire Middle East is far too complicated for any human to master. If you study the game log and player statistics you gotta bet the United States will make the situation worse. It’s just math. (a nod to Biden calling Palestine “the other team” like the goof he is)

The next ten years are gonna be a hoot. Especially if the Dems or a Neocon Republican wins 2024.
