No judgement yet, so there’s nothing FMMR can do at the moment. They might need to go in for a “prove up hearing”, depending on Nevada collection law. Don’t know the procedure there.

This is a great idea. The only problem will be getting him into court. Would he have to be served in traditional fashion?

We learned from the entire Lee Bradbury debacle that Chrissy never answers the door, and always hides where he's going until after he's already been there. I presume this practice is a combination of avoidance of being served lawsuits and an avoidance of getting his ass kicked.

In fact, when Chrissy finally showed up to the appeal to the BS restraining order he got against Lee, he showed up looking slovenly and claimed he just learned that morning he had to be in court. I actually think that may not be too far from the truth, as he was never actually served, and probably finally saw the notices left in his mailbox or on his door or whatever. 100% he wouldn't have shown up at all if it weren't for the fact that otherwise he'd have lost the restraining order he had previously been granted, so he didn't want to lose that "victory" (which he ended up losing anyway).

Anyway my point is that Chrissy probably would not show up to a debtor's examination unless compelled to in some way to where the consequence for no-showing would be fairly bad.

I know you've never worked in Nevada, but can you explain how you think all of this would go? If it could be done, it's a splendid idea, and I bet we could buy this debt for less than $1000.

After his Vegas address is located (which I'm sure we will determine at some point soon), I think we should make some effort to find the judgments against him, and then contact those parties with exactly where they can find him.

This "millionaire" can definitely afford to pay off some 4-figure court judgments, right?

The first question you always ask is “how much money do you have on you now?” Then you have a turnover order ready for the court to sign, and force him to give it to you immediately. Unfortunately, Chrissy reads this forum, so now he’s alerted. In California, the exam isn’t on the stand. The judge sends you into another room. You have to pay for your own court reporter to transcribe the testimony. We’d definitely want to video tape it. Which is allowed in Nevada.

Of course, he could pay off the judgment beforehand to avoid it. We’d make a little money, but lose the opportunity to expose him.
