Going to fire on a Rockies home game again.

Rockies are 22-25 at home. The are A's/Royals level bad on the road, but at home they are almost .500. This is often neglected when they have fail years like this one.

Houston's Hunter Brown hasn't pitched well in his last 2 starts, and Denver is not a forgiving environment to a struggling pitcher. I'm taking the Rockies and their bullpen game.

3-0 Houston after top of the 1st. I said, "Not worried, I bet they're going to bomb Brown".

Sure enough, 3-3 after 1 inning.

But then scoring died. Rockies blew a ton of chances to break the game open, and Houston also blew chances.

Zeroes on the board from the 5th through 9th innings, but the go-ahead run by Colorado in the 4th was good enough. What looked like a slugfest after the 1st saw just one run in the next 7.5 innings.

Still got the W, and once again this demonstrates that the Rockies shouldn't be underestimated at home, even during bad years. They have never been a bad home team. I loved getting +186 at home on them, especially up against a pitcher having issues.
