There is likely a verbal warning to them that they can’t discuss the events before, during or after the meetup, regardless the result.
That way he can spin any fairy tale he wants, exaggerate the smallest win(like he wanted to do with Stewman) and nobody can refute the claims.

If he is limiting his FB Page to just his followers, his numbers will drop even more.

It makes sense that he is flying back from Vegas one day after the party.

You can only disable comments completely if you do it individually for every post.
If you want to restrict comments across your entire FB account (as Christopher Mitchell has done), you can only choose Public, Friends of Friends, or Friends (as seen in the above image) to limit the comments.
Followers do not count as Friends for FB commenting purposes.
He will probably go back to Public comments only when he is actively monitoring his phone.
So I think it's clear that our comments have affected him and we need to step up our game and increase the pressure, hopefully ultimately taking down his FB and Instagram pages.
