Betonline is nothing more than an out in terms of usefulness. It used to be so much more. I have withdrawn all but a few hundred. We had a good run. Was once their biggest cheerleader. I had a very respectable roll on there. They called me twice this evening. I’m done.
Mass goes legal Friday. I’ll take their feeble bonuses. Pit one book against the other - make a few hundred. What happens after that with wagering depends on what opportunities I think I see with overnight lines or alt parlays or whatever. Maybe poorly priced futures (like golf) can be a thing. I dunno.
I snapped poker off clean when that was no longer a worthwhile effort. Never looked back.
I can do the same with wagering. My volume is massively reduced. I used to post 6 or more events pending a night. Not any more. We will see.
Maybe golf. I’m open. In my heart though I know I am not that strong mentally to endure the swings without positive reward for my efforts.

Omg hahahaha this is definitely illegal in the UK. Gambling here has got way out of hand and operators are under huge pressure to take responsible gambling seriously. Always liked Rozner for the Kenyan Open. Prob is rest of the world does too. You can get him 18-1 worth a bet. Maybe small 35-1 frl. Guy can play. No killers in the field.

So Ive looked at the players a few different ways. Ive read up on others with thoughts I value. Ive watched the exchange and made my pick(s).
No other way around it - experience is a major factor here. You dont have to be a bomber here to win but you damn well better know where to hit it and be able to execute once you hit it where it needs to be. I see Tom Kim being a winner here in time, but not for a few years (i did find a 50-1 i sprinkled on).
Lot of repeat names in the top 15 over the years and its been quite a while since someone who here and it was a total shock.
Rham and Scottie don't have that winning profile here, as such. Rory does as a former winner. None of the three are worth the shot at a 10-1 or less price.
Don't think we going to have a Kurt situation where someone priced 100-1 or greater is going to win…. Kind if extension if the experience rule. Id fancy Molinari as a past champion over Kim, to beat the point to death. There arent many players with a good past here priced that high.
I do see a handful of players priced between 25-1 and 40-1 who i like, with - few between 40-100 who might be worth a stab. Put a gun to my head and of course Im taking Rory or Rham. But “at the number”……
1. J Day 32-1 is very very live
2.A Hatton 30-1 checks every box and great form
2.B Hovland 29-1 see above
3A Im 32-1
3B Lowry 58-1 one or both of Lowry and Im is going to bink a big one soon / Ill be here for it
4A Bradley 43-1 on the leaderboard every year here / has been there at majors recently…. Worth the stab
4B SW Kim 63-1 won me my first 50-1 bet so I love the guy - but also great record here
5 Fleetwood 90-1 quietly extremely experienced plays great in wind and also has a sneaky good history. NOBODY on tour is as overdue for a big tournament win as fleetwood
