ESPN and other outlets reporting that he was discharged and is back in Buffalo. I can see him being discharged but seems really bizarre they would let him fly home less than a week after going through all this. I guess it’s possible they drove him home, (long ride) but sounds like it had to be close to full recovery to allow him to go to Buffalo.

We don’t really know what happened. But if it was commotio cordis, he has a structurally normal heart and the main issue was trauma induced arrhythmia. If that’s the case, he should be fine.
The main issue with flying is the changes in cabin pressure, which can affect the lungs, probably won’t be an issue for him

Leaving the hospital today or tomorrow.
I fully expect him to be leading the team out on Sunday or in a box at worst. Can’t see him staying home if he’s healthy enough to be discharged.
