The republidems are now threatening to make deals with enough democrats to get McCarthy elected thereby wiping out the 20 holdouts and all deals made with them. They only need to flip six dems.

But what is going to be absolutely positively hilarious is when the vote goes down. When the first dem votes for McCarthy, and of course at that point, McCarthy will have a smug look on his face. But when the next of the 20 holdouts is called to vote yells out....I VOTE FOR JEFFRIES!!! At that point the few dems that planned on voting for McCarthy, smelling blood, will say fuck McCarthy and vote for Jeffries in hopes enough of the other 20 holdouts vote for Jeffries.

The looks on all those swamp republidems faces is going to be PRICELESS!

The swamp, both demopublicans and republidems want business as usual. So it don't make any difference if it's Jeffries or McCarthy. There's not two cents worth of difference between the two.

Instead, during his acceptance speech when he was elected Speaker on the fifteenth try, McCarthy promised, “Our very first bill will repeal the funding for 87,000 new IRS agents.”


There is no funding for 87,000 IRS agents, as The New York Times and others have fact-checked. There is funding to replace retiring IRS agents, upgrade the agency’s technology, and cut wait times in half by hiring more agents to answer consumer phone calls.

In fact, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen last August, in writing, ordered the IRS to not use any of the new funding allocated to the agency to increase investigations of any American making $400,000 or less.
