He lead us into an illegal and immoral war and is himself responsible for all the death and damage which ensued. Those who directed him are still giant pieces of shit but that man is right up there with the worst of the worst ever. No American should be defending his record. He is worse than Carter and Biden. He is the worst president in my lifetime by a wide margin. He does not deserve to have the history re written nor should anyone be making excuses for what he did. There is nothing he can do to ever atone for his actions.

I mean, the only defense for the dude is he’s incredibly stupid and was surrounded by far smarter men with an agenda that he wasn’t even smart enough to grasp. That he spent his entire life where he was always the dumbest guy in the room.

He was born to a much smarter former CIA director who was the father of not only him, but the guy who gave us Bill Barrs dad from the old school pre-CIA Officer of Strategic Services era, the eventual headmaster who hired Epstein without a degree to teach at an exclusive prep school. Then Bill.

I’ve always viewed W’s presidency as his dads second and third terms. He installed his people. He enacted his father’s agenda.

His son was handpicked as the guy you want to have a beer with with name recognition, and yet would be the dumbest guy in the average bar.

To get overly angry at him rather than the cadre who worked him from the cradle is basically calling a Downs kid for double dribbling at the group home. That’s his only defense, but being retarded is a defense when your job calls for making judgement decisions and the guys you’ve known since childhood are all lying to you.

Like what was Saddam ever supposed to do? He was a legit strongman instilled and supported by us to a large degree. Was he supposed to say I don’t have shit for weapons surrounded by enemies? That would be like Trump saying I’m truly a shitty businessman if I’m being honest. He ruled by fear and talking that Allah shit, but wasn’t some true believer. He wanted to fuck the local girls and enrich himself and keep the actual terrorists at bay to the best of his ability much like a drug kingpin doesn’t want bodies or it draws attention from the outside. And all things considered, he did that really well for a long time.

I always imagined him sitting back thinking they have to know this is all a strongman act? I can’t be viewed as capitulating to the UN or my own people will hang me and they’ll get a real true believer in charge. They know that, right? This is just them saber-rattling like I am, right? I imagine him sitting in that hole thinking I did these guys bidding for 30 years, wtf?

That always seemed obvious. I recall arguing it on the old site. Like we remove him and we end up either with a true believer or strengthen Iran. Just amazing idiocy. Wolfowitz/Cheney crew always grasped that dynamic, yet saw an opportunity to work a retarded President, bolster their stock portfolios, and fail miserably at their long held vision of spreading democracy through the Middle East for their oil interests and defense contracts windfalls.

The buck stops here and all that as far as W, but when you give a D student the biggest job in the world, a lot of people are going to die.

Don’t overlook neocon (shoutout to Halliburton lulz) corruption. Absolutely legendary fraud.

America has yet to recover from Bush. Where to start? Draw a straight line from Bush to January 6 and the populist uprising. They have a right to be angry.

George Bush was a complete embarrassment. But I had no choice but to support him in 2004 against John Kerry.

Democrats are morons and republicans are idiots. Did you see the fucking choice I had in 2008? Democrat Barack Obama against democrat John McCain?

And to add insult to injury, in 2012 it was democrat Obama against democrat Mitt Romney.

In 2016 we finally got a real conservative in Trump. And he did great no matter what the bullshit artists tell you. He has a long list of accomplishments. That he wasn't reelected is a monument to the stupidity of the majority of American voters.

And it looks to me that the stupid ass republican party is going to nominate another democrat to run against the democrats in 2024.

If the republican party wants to start trying to redeem itself it can start by making this woman the RNC Chair:

She is a defense lawyer who does high profile cases with right wing clients (eg. Andy Ngo) and she does a lot of local and national right wing radio promoting herself and her cases.

My read on her is that like most celebrity/high-profile lawyers, she is more about amplifying her own brand and making the money than public service. I don’t really see her making a serious run for any official office, although she certainly may make a half hearted one for publicity.

And there is a good chance that Trump is using his NFTs to launder money.

The republican civil war gets juicier. House republicans are now warning Bitch McConnell that they will make big trouble in the next Congress for any republican senator that supports the House omnibus spending bill this week.

Does Congress still have the authority to declare war? Anyway, they just need to go ham and move on.

It’s an inflationary move but Yellen has been vocal about supporting our military involvement despite cost - so that’s another check.

Let’s do this thing Druff. I had Air Force +163 it’s +145 now. Lockheed Martin promises some great commercials

Here’s a little insight for you Mickey, the members of the Senate don’t take the House seriously. What exactly are they gonna do? Sick The Space Laser Lady on them or something?

Give Mickey (staunch & rabid Republican) credit for staying on point in documenting the civil war - whether you agree with his politics or not.

Nothing about Floyd riots or free speech - just civil war.

    Seeing the board clearly

Bill have to make it through both houses.

The Senate would like to pass bi-partisan anti-trust legislation on high tech. It doesn't look like it's going to happen before this Congress ends because of certain democrats and republicans who are in the pockets of high tech.

The bill will have an even worse future in the new Congress because of two republicans, Mike McCarthy who will probably be Speaker, and Jim Jordan who will be heading the Judiciary Committee. Without their support it doesn't matter what the Senate does. Both McCarthy and Jordan are bought off by big tech.

So democrats (who control Congress) want regulation, but republicans who are in the pockets of big businesses are trying to stop it? We call that business as usual in the good ol’ USA.
