RIght now everyone is on pins and needles about Nevada, and former Micon nemesis Adam Laxalt (now GOP candidate for Senate).
Both big races in NV are close -- gubernatorial (Sisolak versus Lombardo) and Senate (Laxalt versus Cortez-Masto).
Lombardo is doing a bit better than Laxalt at the moment, but both lead by 5 figures in votes.
HOWEVER
Nevada fucked up their election again (what else is new), and apparently Clark County is way behind counting ballots.
Laughably, not only does the county have 300+ drop boxes which weren't counted at all yet, they don't even know how many ballots are in them!

What a fucking fail.
People are questioning why they couldn't have even COUNTED those ballots by now, given that it's been about 16 hours since polls closed. Others complained that they didn't even weight the boxes to get a good idea of what was in there, if they didn't have time to count, for whatever reason.
Lombardo leads by about 40k, while Laxalt leads by about 23k.
In addition, there's about 14,500 mail-in ballots which also haven't been counted by Clark County.
Clark County is a blue county, and mail-in ballots for sure lean even further D, but the drop boxes aren't as blue-leaning as the mail. Still, it's not hard to believe that Cortex-Masto could pick up a win here, if there are something like 120,000 uncounted ballots total, if they break 60-40 for her.
There are already suspicions that shenanigans are going on because:
1) People are paranoid about election theft in general
2) Nevada is a notoriously corrupt state, dating back to its beginnings
There has been talk for years about the "Reid machine" having control of Nevada politics, referring to corrupt longtime Senator Harry Reid. While Reid retired years ago and croaked last year, some are concerned that machine is still running.
This is a big deal because the Laxalt/Masto race could determine who controls the Senate.
It's really down to Laxalt/Masto and Walker/Warnock, regarding whether Republicans end up with 49, 50, or 51 Senators. Walker/Warnock is almost surely headed for a runoff. If Laxalt wins, the GOP may dump a ton of resources into that Georgia runoff.

Will be interested to see how Trump spins his reaction to the results. Might be along the lines that this proves America needs him back in order to appeal to conservative voters. He might point out that, even during his "stolen" 2020 election, Republicans did well in House races.
