My "3-0" NBA day turned into 1-2.
The Nets blew it, but they're the Nets so that's not a shock.
But to lose that NY over when it was 178 points after 3 quarters was just brutal. 39 fucking points in the 4th. Wasn't even a blowout game. Nobody could shoot in the 4th. I hate when this happens.
Annoying to be struggling so much in the NBA while doing so well in NFL. I fall to 5-10-1 now.
Dealer at private game i consider myself freind asks me if i want an account Along with all the other guys in the game. He got set up with a sheet and the standard 25% of all losses arrangement so hes trying to build. I tell him he doesn't want my action. He says of course he does and to not be ridiculous. I ask him can get get me a 500/5000 account so long as his guy can handle it. He says no they doing all small accounts but he says take a 200/2000. I sit on the account and i send in 1-2 college or nfl plays of the week. Last week i didnt send in anything with him and he chews me out this morning. Im giving everyone else business and not him and he hears all i do is bet sports all day long….. why am i being a prick about this.

I’ve been doing this since the eighties. I long ago realized it’s usually the games you feel most strongly about and it doesn’t really affect me. The Panthers beat Tom Brady by 3 Tds the day before.
Its why I go with the alternative exotic lines when I’m overconfident. If you’re right it pays, but if you’re wrong you’re way wrong. A ML bet was as worthless as a 13.5 +160. Now a Bears -13.5 would be porn.
It’s never the ones where you made a terribly wrong pick. I’m more irritated by the ones that should have won if not for some fluke. It isn’t like getting it in good in poker. I got it in shitty.
I recall loving Ohio State against Northwestern a few years ago for 5 figures and it was like this, never a game I was going to cover. I turned it off after the first drive of second half and listened to a podcast.
As I said, I’ve been very wrong before. It’s been a good year overall. But fuck Mac Jones. Kid needs to grab a clipboard and hope he’s the Panthers backup in a few years. Best game I’ve ever seen Fields play was more surprising than losing. And it still wasn’t that great with his arm, just feet. I’ll bet against them again next week most likely.
