FTPJesus, are you reading this?? Can you confirm if long covid is real???
I commend Dan Druff for posting about Ben as I have to assume he knew trolling was gonna happen, ironically from the people he politically aligns with. All around bad timing. Coronavirus was “over” until it directly smacked Mr. Druff where it hurts most, his Harvard bound child. Druff, I sincerely hope your kid and anyone elses affected child/loved one recovers from such a terrible potentially debilitating virus.
Its not just Mr. Druffs son, there are never ending stories just like his and its scary. Atleast we can all take solace in knowing that the american for profit health care industry is humming along quite fine, gifting poor people a beautiful lump of freedom laced medical debt after their hospital stay. Atleast we have splitthis to remind everyone about natural doctors, lol.
Kind of is a sad state of affairs to know that no one cares about anyones children (unless they want them aborted lol lol). Mmmmmm american individualism. Because why should anyone care about anyone else? FREEDOM. (which means free to ignore an issue because it doesnt apply to me, the individual) "didnt happen to me, not my problem"
Caring about the community? Boring. Funding more medical research?? Um NO! Well, ok fund it with taxpayer money but make sure its only done for a corporate profit. Health and safety protocols?? LOL NO, reminder: FREEDOM. If people die or suffer long term effects, not my problem. Protecting Jewdonks right to openly spit on people while he talks is more important than some out of control *mask mandate* or creating new regulations about indoor ventilation, yawn.
Remember in 2020 when medical people were literally talking about droplets in the air and how easy it is to transmit viruses? Glad that’s over. Now in 2022 its nice to know that we are so full of individual freedom there are swaths of people that would be offended if their waiter didn’t personally drool over their food before serving it.
Lets be real though, if Jared K*shner was in charge of handling coronavirus, maybe it could actually be cured.
Does he have any other symptoms other than being tired/sleeping more? It's quite common for sleeping habits to change and 12-14 yr olds do need more sleep as they are growing/developing.
Few questions below (not trolling)
-does he eat breakfast?
-does he avoid caffeine for the most part? Especially later in the evening?
-does he have some daily physical activities? Involved in sports or exercise?
-try to avoid screen time right before bed?
Hopefully this resolves itself over time if it is long covid.
Can't believe you let your merry band of retards make fun of you over this. Guess dealing with retarded sociopaths is the price you pay these days as a Republican.
I dealt with waves of fatigue and limited lung capacity for a few months after my initial bout; both cleared up after a few months. Hoping the same for your son. My taste has returned after being non-existent during recent second bout, but still have tongue blisters, which just suck more than anything.

nobody making fun of his kid, I'll say this I've read quite a few articles about long covid being debunked and people that "suffer" from it have mental illness, cause it's not proven it exists
HOWEVER, that doesn't mean I think Druff is making this up, but I am saying, you give a kid an out(any preteen-teenage kid, not just druff's kid)to avoid any activity and just say oh dad sorry my long covid is acting up, I'll just play video games instead of going outside, a little sus
I think simpdog brought up some good questions

Yes, Benjamin had levels tested since the long COVID started, and nothing looked abnormal.
The long COVID is basically an extension of the COVID he got in early January. Everything got better except the fatigue part. It would be a gigantic coincidence if he got an unrelated issue at the exact same time, especially since so many others are reporting the same thing.
This is where the right is sometimes stupid about COVID. Rather than admitting it is/was a real thing which caused/causes real harm, they seek to equate it to a cold or flu. While COVID has evolved to become far less serious than the original and Delta versions, there's still the long COVID risk, at least for those who got the early forms of Omicron like Ben. (There is a current theory that the present BA.4/BA.5 versions are even milder, and are less likely to cause both short and long term issues.)
The right should have instead been focusing on stupid shit the left was doing -- shutting down parks and beaches, mask mandates unbacked by science, school closures, forcing COVID positive people into nursing homes and killing tens of thousands, etc. You can be opposed to all that while still admitting that COVID was a serious matter in 2020-2021, and still does some unexplained damage in 2022.
I would love it if Ben fully recovered like I did, but it just didn't happen. He's not faking anything, and this is not likely to be an unrelated problem which just happened to appear right after his COVID illness went away.

Energy bill price rise may cause heart attacks and strokes, says TV GP
There could also be an increase in chest infections, mental health problems and ill-health in children
