In his latest "afraid" video I think he is setting himself (and his family by extension) up for failure. His gambling is likely getting out of control, losing, and then needs a more legit excuse as to why the cash flow is going to dwindle and they need to now "buckle down." He does this by saying he is taking a huge risk on an investment.

He has likely lost a ton of money and running on flumes or his "investment" is 20k on the dodgers in a last ditch effort to buy himself some more living expenses which he could lose.

I was actually thinking this exact same thing.

I think he sees how well Craft is doing and he sees how easy gullible people will give up their money. It really isn’t that expensive to start a small, simple church. There are even many Churches in strip malls. Some small churches when starting out will rent space from a school since they otherwise are not using the building on Sundays. Or you can lease a traditional church. You could probably find a small church for a few grand per month. The nice thing is most everyone at the church is a volunteer. The hard part will be building up that initial 100 or so members to where it’s “Profitable”.

You can be in business for first, last months rent, and a deposit.

The big issue for Chrissy is if he did do this, the congregation would sense he is only after their money. There is a fine balance between keeping the members coming back and getting their cash at the same time.

In a way Chrissy is sicker than we think if he actually starts a church to “profit.”
