There wouldn't be any fudging of stats. Anyone who bet with me would be guaranteed that I would provide a full and complete history to the doctor, including the recent gout issues. I would also be honest about my diet, and my height/weight would be apparent in the exam.
I'm not trying to make the claim I'm top 10% in health of 50 year olds, or anything like that. Top 50% isn't a high bar to clear. If you think that a 50-year-old with a BMI under 30, and with zero major health problems and zero surgeries or overnight hospital stays in his lifetime, is "below average health", then you're insane. But if you'd like to bet the opposite way, definitely let me know.
