It's not his friend's channel. It's his. Even if he's getting a friend to actually post them for him from an out-of-state IP (which may or may not be happening -- only YouTube can see that), that doesn't mean anything. It's his channel, and it's very clear from several factors (to YouTube, not just me) that it's his channel.

This isn't YouTube's first rodeo with a problem channel. They have very specific protocols in place for dealing with channels which circumvent rules, suspensions, and bans. They also have full time attorneys who work with them and the authorities to take care of people who simply won't stay off their platform after repeatedly being told to stop.

The bottom line is that, if YouTube doesn't want your channel on their service, you won't be on their service.

How come they didn’t go after Chrissy when his channel had two strikes and he was using that other channel (which hasn’t been added to in over 6 months now)

A few reasons:

1) The second channel belonged to his wife, and had existing content from his wife. So he was technically just "joining his wife" in his new videos. Obviously we know what was really going on there (that he was hiding away his main channel until the 90 days ticked off, so he wouldn't get a third strike), but he was barely straddling the line of channel-hopping legitimacy.

2) Nobody was effectively reporting this. Using the YouTube REPORT button doesn't work well for something like this. The REPORT button doesn't work well in general (as I've explained many times), but for something like this, it's especially useless. Reporting something like this requires the abliity to reach the YouTube back office which deals with violations, and explain it to a human being.

3) Chrissy wasn't re-offending on his new channel. His only strikes were for posting BOL links, wihch he stopped doing. So YouTube wasn't particularly interested in his new channel.


In general, YouTube cares WAY more about harassment/bullying/threats than they do about scams. The main reason is because scams are subjective and require some understanding of the subject matter to know what is actually a scam, whereas harassment is very obvious and blatant.

Chrissy posted an "update" yesterday, indicating he's up $126k for December (lol), yet somehow joining his inner circle costs a "measly $1000".

I think that's the whole point of this fake $100k win -- so he can see if it ropes in suckers willing to pay the $1000 pricetag, rather than the $250 one he was charging before.

He also claimed that the December contest winner "won't appear on video" (very convenient), and is now requiring the January contest winner to appear on video in order to claim the prize.

I think there's a good chance there was no December winner, thus the lack of anyone going on video!
