BTW, for all the bashing of the US healthcare system (which I admit needs massive reform), I got into a specialist on the day I called last week. Try doing that in a country with socialized medicine. They'll quote you 4 months -- if you're lucky -- and you'll need a referral from your general doctor. No thanks. Speediness in seeing specialists and getting tests is my favorite thing about the US system, and I don't ever want that to go away.

Anyway, lots of people are texting me questions along the lines of, "Do you think this is because of your COVID vaccine booster?"

At first I said it was possible but unlikely, because it had been over 6 weeks since the booster.

However, upon further analysis, I now think there's a good chance it was from the booster. I'll explain further when I have a confirmed diagnosis, but yes, I think the booster has pushed a certain problem into the forefront, which was long teetering on the brink of happpening. So if my theory is true, the booster didn't directly cause a condition, but it took a condition which was already close to occurring and pushed it over the top.

I'm not trying to be anti-vax here, just being honest. But between getting really sick for 2-3 days and now this, I admit I am less positive I'll get that 4th shot when the time comes.

I hope you feel better but this is hilarious
