My post was half jest, but I am absolutely serious that IMO if the politics of this were different the narrative would be very different, rittenhouse would be celebrated by the establishment, and left wing Twitter would be awash with “fucked around and found out” memes celebrating the killings.

after a couple summers of civil violence destroying property while police back off and take a "let it peter out" strategy many folks are fed up and doing what they think needs doing to protect their communities.
