Cliffs of Haley's article:
- Mike Postle used the e-mail address
roundermagpro@gmail.com when filing the response, and then changed it to a Yahoo address for the article, in order to cover up his association with Rounder Magazine (aka Rounder Life)
- Sacramento area attorney Owen Hughes is very likely the author of this response, for various reasons: (1) Because an earlier version of the document had reference to "Mr. Hughes"; (2) Because there's an association between Postle's former attorney William Portanova and Owen Hughes; (3) Because some of the language used in Postle's motion is basically word-for-word copypasta from previous filings by Hughes in other cases.
Here's an ongoing case where Hughes is the defendant, and Portanova is his attorney:
