so apparently like 18% of the US voted for trump, thats how many people stayed home during that election.
this is how i see it:
- a lot of people who voted for trump are going to stay home in nov 2019 election
- a lot of people who stayed home instead of voting for hillary in 2015 are going to be out in force in 2020 because this is literal madness and its embarrassing
those are the two factors im locked in on for trump to be a one termer.
but the X factor, that he is literally the jim jones of the republican party and everything to the right of it and has absolutely electrified his christian conservative base, is enough for me to say 'right, of course..' when once again he wins the electoral college regardless of losing the popular election.
i need to see a few more republicans peace out on their own circular waco before i think there is a light at the end of the tunnel frankly.
