Im 7-8 pounds lighter than a week ago. The goal is to lose weight. If I plateau I adjust

Not that easy, adjusting the calories down when you hit the wall will have a reverse affect. Your body will think it is starting to starve (no joke) and try its hardest to maintain.

Knock your calories to sub 1800. Heck even the 600 lb life show has them on 1500 a day and they still miss weight for the surgery after several months.

You clearly rather eat, I want to see you win otherwise Id be like ya sure stash 2000+ cals a day you'll do fine.
