Im not going to comment on why they are doing what they are doing or the whos right and whos wrong of the whole deal mainly because I don't know enough about the situation to make a real comment on it. Don't think for a second I am defending why these guys are stirring the pot - i don't know anything about the "why" to make an educated response to it.
I will say this though, i find it ironic for lack of a better word, that these guys are all of the sudden "terrorists" for what they are doing. People are calling for the feds to just storm it and kill them all. How ridiculous.
They haven't killed anyone
They haven't acted violently...
they haven't made violent threats...
they haven't incited riots...
but yet they are "terrorists"
Why are they terrorists? Because they are carrying their guns? Im willing to bet that every weapon carried is legal, and I'm willing to bet overall you will find a practically non-existent real criminal record in the group. Someone sees some guns and all of the sudden "OMG OMG! KILL EM KILL EM!". The 2nd amendment and its privileges seems to get tossed around alot these days and at times the line is blurred, but believe it or not and whether you agree with it or not, them being able to carry in this fashion and form is literally at the heart of what the 2nd amendment was designed for - fighting an oppressive government. You don't need to take my word for it, look it up. Now once again, make no mistake here, I am not defending these guys; they say they are fighting tyranny. Well, whether the government really has been oppressive I am not arguing for or against, because I really don't know enough about the situation.
Let's take a few other happenings that have been going on the last few years though I.E. :
the riots - seems to me I never heard one mention of the word "domestic terrorists", and if anyone said it, it was rare and not
mainstream. They created more havoc, destruction, death, and heartache than ever. All anyone would say is
"ohh, they are fed up and voicing themselves"
"give them a safe space to cause their destruction"
"they are fighting for a cause'
you get the idea...
The San Bernardino shooting - it seems like it took quite a long time for the President to come out and actually call it an act of terrorism.
Oh, how about this guy as another example:
Councilman Kenneth Stokes Encourages Residents To Throw Rocks At Police
Mississippi Councilman Kenneth Stokes is fed up with police chasing after small-time crooks and has asked residents in Jackson, Mississippi, to throw things at officers in pursuit.“What I suggest is we get the black leadership together and as these jurisdictions come into Jackson, we throw rocks and bricks and bottles at them,” Stokes told WLBT-3 News on Thursday.
According to CNN, Gov. Phil Bryant and a county sheriff are threatening to have prosecutors investigate Stokes over the suggestion. “Let’s get rocks; let’s get bricks, and let’s get bottles,” Stokes told WJTV. “And we’ll start throwing them, and then they won’t come in here anymore.”
Councilman Kenneth Stokes is notorious for speaking his mind and stirring controversy and has repeated the suggestion to several other local news outlets. In 2014, when Stokes was the Hinds County Supervisor, he claimed at a public meeting that he believed former Jackson Mayor Chokwe Lumumba “was murdered” – despite the fact that the county coroner concluded the ailing mayor had died of natural causes, reports NBC News.“My position is this: When you have these police officers coming from other jurisdictions and they will not respect human life, then I said we should use rocks, bricks or bottles to try to get the message over: stop endangering our children,” Stokes told Jackson’s the Clarion-Ledger newspaper on Friday.“Now I have supported police officers in police departments all over this state from when I was a (Hinds County) supervisor when we voted for new cars and equipment for police officers. I opened and closed the last council meeting in honor of an officer who had died. I have named streets after officers in this city,” Stokes continued.Several people have fired back at Stokes’ remarks via social media including law enforcement officers, the governor, and the attorney general.
According to a recent Facebook post, the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department – located approximately 140 miles from Jackson – is refusing to do business with any business located within the city limits of Jackson until Stokes is no longer on the city council.

Now why isn't this councilman being labeled a terrorist? Because he's black, because it might incite another riot? I don't know, someone tell me...
What about the other public figures who have encouraged people to go out and kill cops?
Meanwhile, these guys (however misguided they may be) haven't thrown even so much as a rock or bottle, and they are all of the sudden "terrorists" and "should be dealt with swiftly and harshly"
The hypocrisy is thick
I really do hope the government doesn't do anything stupid and the situation somehow deescalates. As for what the government can do? I really don't know, im not an expert on that...and neither is the government though. I doubt it would happen but I just hope they don't storm the place and have it turn into a Ruby Ridge or Waco, because if that happens, shit could get a whole lot worse.
