The line about the "war on drugs" marginalizing minorities and poor people is garbage. Whether you support or oppose the war on drugs, it's fairly clear that its purpose has nothing to do with racism or class warfare. Statements like that are a bunch of hippy nonsense, and make it tough to take the writer seriously on everything else.
