Sorry, he's 16he was like 17 years old.. I'm sure he was more humiliated than ever feeling in danger... The issue with hitting children is that they feel helpless and afraid and that manifests as anger when they grow up... perhaps if she hadn't hit him as a child he wouldn't be a fucking moron looting in the streets... but once your 17 and acting like a grown ass man, getting hit by your mother in public is a very different circumstanceSo, one of the biggest stories on the major news outlets is about this "mother of the year", who I agree is pretty awesome in doing what she did.
My question though... I can't help but notice all these people on all sides of the fence praising her actions, which in large part was her slapping the shit out of a 16 year old. What I don't get though is that these are a lot of the same people saying some months back that you NEVER hit your children, EVER!!! So, is it safe to say now there are certain acceptable times that you can in fact hit your children? Cause I think that was always the argument on the other side of that argument, that sometimes in extreme situations, it's necessary.
