Yeah, we've talked about the need to be decked out in Seahawks gear. We're thinking one of us in Oilers hockey colors as an ice breaker/conversation piece, & one in Seahawks gear. Does this sound like a good plan?

If a guy wears Seahawk gear & brings beers to the tailgating will that help us befriend the locals & get invited to their pre-game BBQ/party?

Also I'll be using transit(hopefully rail) from the downtown core to the stadium so do they care if I bring a cooler/case of beer on it?

It just depends on the people really, you have your friendly people and your assholes. Should be able to hop around and get a good taste of both sides, I wouldn't go in thinking if I bring some brewskis they will feed me though.

Definitely get the Hawks jersey, it doesn't hurt that they look so titties.
