Respectfully, but its not a ghost town because of that specific "no personal attack" policy,
its dead because people are leaving bulletin boards and migrating over to Reddit, X, etc,as been written here before. Removing personal attacks also removed doxing and potential legal action. No one wants to be attacked online and it scares users away. PFA was dead about 1-2 years ago and then came back to life. Again, personal attacks kill a BBS, not help it bloom.
