He didn't save anything. Or almost nothing. That there are millions of people listed on the database above a livable age has been known for decades. Last audit like a decade ago there were 13 people collecting out of millions listed. This is a complete non story and DOGE didn't even do the work. The work was done in multiple audits years ago and they simply stopped the 13 and said the computer glitch that caused it was too expensive to fix. That system is abused like no other and I have known people to file complaints against people who have been on disability for decades, including pics and videos of them doing the most physical manual labor and owning businesses in someone else's names while collecting, and no one cares. Add in many of those people have jobs where they get paid cash and now we also have to pay for food stamps for their kids and health insurance and everything else. So its not just the money they are collecting themselves, it's the burden on the society on top of it and they also get Medicare. Ridiculous abuse that is tens of millions of people. This old people collecting social security story is absolute nonsense in any real way. Close the SSDI scam, then you have accomplished something.
