I will say as someone who has battled clinical depression that I am genuinely concerned for Garrett. It comes off as authentic to me and usually my read on this is pretty spot on. He has spoken about spending months in bed and every time he has spoken about it, it has always lined up consistent with my knowledge & experience. It is not a mitigating factor or an excuse for his actions. But I genuinely hope he has a good support system around him.

Easy games or not, gambling for such huge amounts of money and not being staked is an incredibly stressful way to make a living. If I woke up tomorrow 20 million richer & 20 years younger I wouldn’t even give a second thought to playing these type stakes & dealing with these type swings. If couldn’t handle it. On a human level I hope he is doing alright.
