This isn't a Black problem. This is strictly an African American problem. The Africans who immigrate to the USA are thriving and becoming some of the most successful groups in the USA. Immigrants from African countries I know personally hate to be lumped into the same group as African Americans. They don't want that association.

Legalizing pot and lowering criminal penalties will only result in people making more bad life choices.

At the end of the day, systemic poverty - regardless of race - is very tough to remedy. USA has a terrible Gini coefficient and USA is a pretty bad place to move up the income ladder, despite the myth of 'American Dream."
