You make it sound like you are this ballin gambler taunting everyone to bet all the time.

The reason nobody is taking you bet is because Obama is ahead. It would be like accepting a bet at haltime with your team down 21 points.

Romney always had an uphill battle because he complains about 47 million being on food stamps whereas Obama embraces it. At least the momentum might be turning though.

But this thread was not about the first Tuesday in November. It was about tonight's debate where Obama was clearly outclassed by someone who is clearly more competent. But here again, you did not watch it because your guy got trounced. If there tables were turned you'd be here giving your analysis. You sure showed up her right when the debate was over though and sure sound pretty petty right now.

I've seen many people make the excuse that Obama got spanked because he was out of debate practice.

It's pretty pathetic that our presidents (same excuse for Bush vs Kerry #1) after four years are out of debate practice. No matter what side of the fence you are on that shows the true problem with our country.

If you are running this country the way a president should, then you would not be out of debate practice after running it for four years. If anything, you should be much more sharp and prepared. No decision made by a president is a simple decision, so if you aren't debating back and forth with both sides before making a decision you are clearly doing something wrong.

It's really too bad that Romney sleepwalked through his campaign until now.

This reminds me so much of what just happened to the Dodgers. Blow your chances to win for most of the season, suddenly get really hot at the end, and still come up short because you're out of time.

It is very hard for Obama to win a debate when he is using a .22 revolver and Romney is using a Desert Eagle. He can not win arguing the most important subjects(unemployment/energy/housing/health). He has done some good things but overall his policies are a total fail job.

I'm looking forward to the vice-presidential debate as these have been very interesting over the last several years.

Cheney/Leibermann was fantastic as it was a couple of old pros with obvious respect for each other in an even affair. Cheney fucking destroyed and overmatched John Edwards four years later and Biden handled the weak Sarah Palin four years ago.

I expect a prepared and confident Ryan to beat the gaffe-prone vice president.

Mitt Romney performed better than expected but I was surprised at how unprepared Obama was to call out Romney's lies.
