Mason's been waiting to ban Druff for a long time except he wanted Druff to really be humiliated and go down in flames. He found the perfect opportunity when Marty showed up and goaded Druff into a flame fest. Druff took the banana because he couldn't help himself. When he started making posts like a crazy buffoon explaining to anyone who would listen who that poster was and their history it was over. Notice how Mason quoted Marty's post as he kicked Druff back to the land of misfit toys?

It was interesting to me how Jewdonk wasn't mentioned during the radio tirade one fucking time when Druff knows damn well that was the reason he's been demoted.

Also terribly funny was when Slim P called and asked to be reinstated, Druff told him he would need to apologize to a guy who doesn't even post here anymore before he can come back. This after Druff went on for an hour bitching and moaning about being made to apologize to come back on 4. Talk about the pot calling the fucking kettle black.

Jewdonk wasn't the reason I was banned. At most, it's possible that his posts calling for an apology gave Mason the idea for what he eventually did, but the ensuing (short) argument between me and Jewdonk really didn't affect anything.

It is possible that Mason intentionally quoted Jewdonk just to piss me off, but that didn't affect his decision to ban me.

Now, let's say Jewdonk got me into some big back-and-forth argument, and eventually Mason banned me for my conduct during the argument. Then you could say that Jewdonk got me banned. That's not what happened here.

The Slim T situation bears no similiarity to mine on 2+2.

I was banned on 2+2 because of my actions on another site (this one), involving a third party that Mason doesn't even appear to know.

Slim T was banned for creating a 40+ page drama thread on this site, full of nasty accusations against my real-life friend and radio co-host, and refusing to back up those accusations. I gave Slim T weeks to post the proof, and got nothing but excuses. 40+ pages, and not one shred of proof was ever posted, despite his claims to have such proof. I don't want to rehash that situation again, but by the time it was over, I had enough with Slim T. However, as I said on radio, if he comes to terms with Brandon over the whole thing, I will have no problem letting him back on. I can also say that I was personally with Brandon during part of this debacle, and I can say with certainty that he was honestly trying his best to be helpful to Slim T. There was nothing at all sinister going on.

Also, from before PFA even started, I posted that there would be certain people I wouldn't allow on this site because I just didn't like them. I have never claimed that I don't ban people out of personal dislike, though I think everyone will agree that I have been very light with the overall moderating/banning and have not been heavy-handed at all with this site.

Back before Mason backed Sklansky from posting, you could always count on Sklansky for some pure crackpot bliss.

Daniel came back onto 2+2 last night after a long absence due to a dispute with Mason and his minions. Daniel said water under the bridge etc..etc.. and is happy to start posting again.

But Mason wasn't having any of that and is trying to force Daniel into a humiliating backtrack on stuff he posted about Mason on his own site (FCP). Pretty much ordering him to remove content from his own site before being allowed back onto 2+2.

First off, we think this is a very good thread and an important discussion for our industry, so we hope it continues. But we do have some issues with Daniel Negreanu returning to our forums that I’ll address here.

In the first post of this thread, Negreanu writes “but it’s time to let bygones be bygones and move forward.” Well that’s fine with us, but for this to happen it must be a two way street, and so far that is not the case.

On Negreanu’s own site, Full Contact Poker, there is a thread that he started called “2+2 Is Run By Scumbags,” and for him to become part of the 2+2 community this thread needs to be deleted. Here’s a link to it:

For those interested, please take a look at Posts Nos. 1, 34, 35, 36, and 45. In addition, Post No. 60 is an embedded interview that Negreanu did for the “50+ hour poker podcast dubbed “The Ironman Podcast” benefitting the 22Q.org Foundation., and he makes some comments about me and 2+2 starting at about 18 minutes and 45 seconds.

For those who don’t know, 2+2 has a no solicitation for money policy which with just a few exceptions we strictly enforce. Apparently, Negreanu was objecting to our policy. But in this case, it was certainly the right policy since most of the money for the 22Q Foundation was apparently stolen by the main organizer of “The Ironman Podcast.” Also, to help the 22Q Foundation cover the loss, I donated $2,500 directly to them. And finally, I tried to contact Negreanu last night and he has so far not responded.
