The Billups thing though came clear out of left field and appears to be not related to basketball or sports betting at all, but rather allegations of more Gilbert Areans-style illegal poker games, these allegedly being rigged somehow.
I'm not a sports guy, but listening to this on the radio, crazy and very deep story. I hope Druff covers this on future radio as he does a good job on the sprts betting and fraud events.

Chauncey Billups allegedly ran an underground Poker game with high society clients, rigging the poker games against them with Xray tables and Chip trays etc that identified whole cards.

Deckmate 2 shuffle machine compromise has been around for years. The real story here is that poker dealers could be hacking these machines without the casino’s knowledge. Poker players across the country have probably been getting cheated for a long time to the tune of millions (if not billions) of dollars.
ETA: Druff, get your lawyer on this. Let’s sue Deckmate.

HENNEN organized Rigged Games, provided cheating technology to other co-conspirators in the Scheme to use in Rigged Games in exchange for a portion of the criminal proceeds from the Rigged Games, and was also a member of the Cheating Teams."
Shane Hennen was involved in the Mars Irvine game rigging allegations, which was a scandal in the poker community in 2022.
Matt Berkey posted at the time that he knew Hennen from Pittsburgh, and that Hennen had been cheating many times before. The two of them went at each other on Twitter, though it appeared Hennen showed up on Twitter mainly to defend himself.
I already believed the Mars game was full of cheating (Nik Airball was one of the victims), but with Hennen being busted for the same thing here, it's basically a lock.
