John Mehaffey reported yesterday that Buffalo Bill's in Primm is closing on July 7.

With Whiskey Pete's closing in December 2024, this leaves only the Primm Valley Resort as a functional casino on I-15 south of Vegas. Both casinos in Jean are now gone, with Terrible's closing in March 2020, and never reopening.

Interestingly, Mehaffey reports that a big reason for Buffalo Bill's closure was the severely decreased visitation related to their concert series held there. The concerts largely attracted a Hispanic crowd, and there was fear about ICE sweeps possibly taking place there in the future, so people stopped booking. Or at least that's an excuse the company is giving.

Primm Valley Casino only has machines running. There are no table games. This means that once you leave the Vegas area and drive south on I-15, you cannot find any table games at all until you get into the Riverside/San Bernadino area of California.

Primm was once a bustling destination in the 90s, but has declined over the years.
