What do I think happened today? I think they fell so behind today that they made up the "anesthesiologist didn't show up" story, because it sounded better than the truth. By cutting out the propofol, which is time consuming, they can speed everything up and catch up.

Whenever I’ve had Versed which just wipes out your memory the recovery time was much longer than Propofol which wears off very quickly and is nowhere near as fun to take. The drunken stupor from Versed is awesome and you feel great. So I am not sure Propofol is time consuming….maybe they were telling the truth and Propofol is just more dangerous so only a true Anesthesiologist is willing to administer it….see the dummy that killed Michael Jackson.
