- This was an attack by religious extremists who want to wipe out every Jew on the planet
- There was a follow-up ongoing attack by Hezbollah, to the north
- Israel has a right to defend itself, as would any country attacked like this
- In reality, this is a proxy war, where Iran is sponsoring these extremist groups in order to destabilize Israel and knock out their support on the global stage
