actually it is, in the first hour into Bidenomics with Joes stroking off of the pen (executive orders) he attacked the oil, natural gas, gasoline and fossil fuel energy sector (including electric power plants that use natural gas to produce the electricity) and then the passing of the "inflation reduction act" ( green new deal ) when you drive up energy costs to transport the food, energy to keep the bacon cold at the grocery store and then the attack(s) on ranchers that raise the cattle and pigs and etc...
wind power generation is very expensive and is not profitable if it wasn't subsidized by the US Govt. ( US tax payer funded )

The forced business shutdowns of 2020 were retarded, but once they occurred, the government had to do SOMETHING for the people out of work. Otherwise it's not fair to forcibly prevent people from earning an income, yet expect them to support themselves. The checks sent out to people were a necessity, and yes, likely to cause inflation down the road.
Once everything reopened, this should have been over. Jobs weren't just plentiful -- it was impossible to get enough employees to fill them, as many decided not to go back to work for various reasons (a different problem, and one which still persists somewhat today.)
There was NO reason to be shooting out checks after Biden took office in January 2021. But Biden continued to do so, because Democrats love handing out free money for votes. When Republicans insisted this would cause a horrible inflation issue, they were dismissed as cold-hearted, paranoid naysayers. When inflation did start rocketing up that year, Biden called it "transitory" and said it would be back to normal "within a few months". Republicans who said this would be a long term problem were again dismissed as histrionic and attacking with misinformation.
High inflation lasted long enough to cause a significant and abrupt increase in prices everywhere. Even though the pace has slowed a lot, the damage is already done. Now Kamala has the nerve to blame this on Trump.

These forced business shutdowns you speak of Druff were pretty much allowed to happen under Trump. He was commander in chief and he did not do nearly enough to stop this or to stop schools from being closed down through the end of his term in '21.

I was not happy with how Trump led during COVID. On one hand, he let Fauci run the show too much, and didn't push back enough. On the other hand, he was too busy fighting with Democrats on Twitter, and too dismissive regarding the reality of COVID (that it was a serious matter which was going to kill a lot of people). DeSantis really put on a clinic regarding the proper handling it. Too bad he ran such a shitty Presidential campaign, and also too bad that he changed somewhat and tried too hard to appeal to the MAGA people.
