Such a weird statement, “true north, my kids are not to be blamed.” I mean, who in the fuck blames infants a few months old for a divorce? What’s that even mean? Why are they so unsafe? Weird threats about talking about his divorce from a guy who would take any opportunity to mock any failure from someone he doesn’t agree with him.

Just bizarre.

I’m guessing she gave birth and all of a sudden filed and he was hoping it was post-partum depression or something and she’d come around. I can’t figure out the kids to blame angle otherwise. It’s a weird time to file for divorce. Or he was banging someone male or female while she was pregnant.

I just made a bad choice in marriage is a strange statement for a guy claiming to be so concerned about his kids well-being. Most well-adjusted grownups can keep their hostility for each other from the kids for their well-being. His is on the internet for posterity. Must be really ugly.
I also found it very strange, but I think I translated it to something a bit less irrational.

He got married a decade ago, yet did not have any children. Then all of a sudden, in late 2020, his wife was suddenly pregnant with twins. That's almost 100% IVF.

Now, IVF in itself is nothing to be ashamed of, but it's possible that she objected to doing it that way, he insisted, and she relented. Then the babies were born, she had some form of postpartum depression, and the marriage completely fell apart.

By "I don't blame the kids for this", I think he meant, "I don't blame the fact that we had the kids for the destruction of our marriage."

In reality, I think maybe she was already kinda checked out of the marriage but not quite ready to leave yet, and then Crowder approached her with the IVF idea, which she reluctantly agreed to, in hopes it might change things. When it didn't (and perhaps made things worse), she filed for divorce about 4 months after the kids were born.

I believe Crowder when he says that he didn't want the marriage to end. He was probably a bossy asshole with her the same way he is with his staff, and he wasn't seeing it. When she told him she was leaving, he was probably absolutely floored and didn't see it coming.

He also described the divorce as "horrendous" and described a "boot on my neck". I have a feeling Crowder was too traditional to sign a prenup, so she's probably going after half of his money (note that he had very little when they got married), and that probably has made things even more bitter.

Daily Wire must be breathing a huge sigh of relief that they didn't sign him. He's a complete mess, and his record for alienating people is second to none.
