Source: Pokerstars to make announcement of Full Tilt purchase within next 10 days

Chinamaniac recently reported this story about Stars making the official announcement of their Full Tilt purchase "in the third week of May":

Now he has told me that the announcement will come "this week or next", and that he has gotten reliable information from his inside source.

While I have not personally communicated with this source, I can tell you with certainty that:

1) Chinamaniac does have a real inside source

2) That source does have a lot of information regarding behind-the-scenes matters at Pokerstars


So I think it's likely that his story is true. While it is possible we will see more delays for logistical reasons, I do believe that, as it stands today, Stars indeed plans to announce their Full Tilt purchase on or before May 25.
