    Blood Pressure Device

Go to Walgeens and buy an automated Blood Pressure device. They are like $70.

    Basically perfect.

If you are not normal like me, cut out salt, smokes, lose weight and exercise. Then you to can have blood pressure like me.

    Get device and check daily.

Yes they are accurate as well. Problem is you have people behind you looking. That causes your BP to go up.

For the record, if you have high BP you can go on Meds. Vegas 1369 I believe posted a long post/blog on this in 2011, I can't remember but it rings a bell/

You don't want to go on blood pressure meds if all possible for a lot of reasons but the main one is if they give you the wrong kind or you forget to take them even for just a day or two you can have a heart attack and die.

I've lost a few very close family members this way from blood pressure meds so if all possible do what you can to naturally lower your blood pressure.

I was told recently by a physician not to put too much stock into the offerings at grocery stores/drug stores. The automated ones may not grasp your arm correctly.

Bottomset is right about the need to check it frequently, as even a slightly elevated reading at the doctor can be the result of 'white coat syndrome'; the stress that some people experience when going to the doctor. Also, BP may fluctuate a lot between readings.

I recently did one at the grocery store and it was high. Worried, I went to the doctors. It was high there, too. I had blood work done and was given a clean bill of health; she told me to just get my own machine, as she suspected that it was psychosomatic due to anxiety issues.

She was right; I check it probably 3x/week and hover around 125/75.

Bottom line though, BP is not something to ignore. Get that shit right if you're off

High BP / Death is as follows:

    1) High BP due to unregulated cholesterol

    2) High BP due to not seeing a doctor

    3) Overweight

    4) Smoking

    5) Binge Drinking

    Those are the facts.

Tony I hope you have great health, but I'll be honest, if you stroked out and couldn't type I'd be just a little bit happier.

Hey pal, I have been in these parts since 2008. I am not going anywhere.

You'll be a fart in the wind before I leave.

Not me. I have never had high blood pressure and never made a post on the subject. However, I did post about having a kidney stone.

Married people send hair samples for chemical analysis on regular basis to check for traces of arsenic.
