Pretty amazing.
She won 3 consecutive events -- one with 537 players, one with 448, and one with 215.
The odds of doing that for the average player? 1 in 51,723,840.
Even if you want to say that the odds are much lower because a regular tournament player will eventually win a tournament, and this is simply the feat of winning two more immediately following, the odds of her winning the next two after the first win are still 1 in 96,320.
So needless to say, she has to be fairly good.
I don't know much about her, but I have to imagine she will be at the WSOP. She is 43 years old, so she isn't likely to get a lot of press from the "young, hot chick" angle. But she will probably get noticed if she continues to win.
She's from Bend, Oregon.
