Peter Mayhew, who played Chewbacca in most of the Star Wars movies, has died at age 74.
He got the part because of his height -- 7'2".
He was lucky to live to 74. Extremely tall men have a low life expectancy. Additionally, tall men more within the normal range (like me) still have a lower life expectancy than shorter and average height men.
Mayhew was only 32 when the first Star Wars film was released.
It would have been more proper if he passed on Saturday. It would literally be the perfect time to leave this Earth.
Real Wookies live 250-350 years. (maybe longer?)
