It feels as if the UFC has just given up. Hilarious that they thought Might Mouse could carry his own PPV card; he cant even carry the under card. No one gives a shit about two midgets fighting. Pound for Pound best is retarded since the amount of males walking around at 125 on this planet is vastly smaller than in the other divisions. The division is a fucking snooze fest and they need to get rid of it and he needs to move up. \

And the UFC needs to completely get rid of females on PPV fights unless it is a interesting title fight.

If the UFC felt like DJ could carry a card, his fight wouldn't have been 2nd last on the card, fighting for the only real belt on the card.

UFC hasn't given up, they just lost almost everything that made them special. It's not a family business anymore where fighters feel like they're fighting for Dana, or Lorenzo, or can even talk to them when shit's an issue. They brought in USADA, which killed plenty of cards and short-circuited a lot of careers, for better or worse. They've winnowed fighter pay down as far as they can and the lockerroom bonuses of days past are nowhere to be found anymore, but now everyone knows the company is worth over $5b, going by the last few shares the Fertittas sold. Ain't obody willing to do them favors anymore. etc etc

Hell, even the chick fight tonight was 2 replacement fighters. Was supposed to be Paige v Jessica Eye, a much more fun watch than what we ended up with.

and in the promo shot they have him airbrushed to look like a railroad drifter while his opponent is basically looking like a the 'after' part of a join-the-marines before and after commercial.


cerrone has not lost to anyone out of the top 3 in a division since 2009, with the exception being nate diaz and i think at this point we have to accept that diaz is capable of slaying lions on the right night.

If his takedown defense is solid we've got a future contender and a big personality with Till. I think I'm a fan. He throws that left from all kinds of subtle angles and never stops feinting, he's a nightmare for most of that division on the feet.

I'd love to see him fight Perry but I'm not sure the UFC will do that fight. I think they want to protect Perry for a bit while he refines his sloppy stand-up. He's another guy who could sell some ppv's down the line.
