Bisping is a stud but it seems bizarre the commission and UFC would let this happen. He got dropped, hit with some big shots then choked unconscious and a month later he will be back in there?

Bisping fought guys for years that had doctors giving them test for quasi-legit reasons, getting a doc to clear him within 30 days is easy peasy. Don't fret, tho, I'm sure the Shanghai commission will take an extra careful look at things before the fight. Safety first and whatnot.

I mean, nobody is really bothered that GSP actively took advantage of Bisping's useless eye, are they?

Hilarious incident between Werdum and Covington. Sounds like a sucker punch was involved, a boomerang to the face, some homophobic slurs and a lawsuit.

Last night was chaotic. Covington came forward with the allegations of the sucker punch and put up a video he himself took. In the video Covington called Werdum a faggot (Covington isn't very smart). Werdum responded in the media saying he never hit Covington and it was Covington who called him a filthy Brazilian and followed up the insult by kicking him. Werdum said in response he hit his cell phone out of his hand.

Shortly after that video was released showing Werdum throw a boomerang at Covington (you can't make this shit up). Both guys appeared to have lied in their stories but sherdog is now reporting there is video evidence that back up Covington's full story. Will be interesting to see what the UFC does with Werdum. You can't really have a HW running around picking fights with the smaller divisions star fighters.

Which is hilarious enough, but the real punch line here is that within days of Conor being quietly scrubbed from the card, a viral video magically popped up of De La Hoya saying he could KO Conor in 2 rounds or less.

So yeah there is a real chance that Conor will just blow off MMA for good and be the worlds most expensive boxing can for the rest of his life.

I mentioned in this thread the De La Hoya vs McGregor fight and I really think that could have legs. Golden Boy will have to risk the guaranteed money and it's possible they won't be willing to. That could be the only draw back, no change the UFC does.

Apparently Woodley has signed the contract for that fight and is putting the pressure on Nate to do the same.

I don't like that fight, Nate is a 155lber who has a rough go of it at 170lbs when he had a few fights there. Nate has some selling power, get him in there at 155lbs.

Hard to imagine the UFC coming up with anything too excited this close to the event.
